AdvocateFlow vs the eCourts Services app
In short
The eCourts Services app is the free government case-status app. AdvocateFlow is a practice-management web app for the whole chamber. Many advocates use both.
Price
- eCourts Services app: free.
- AdvocateFlow: the first 3 months free with every feature on. After that, the diary, matters and most tools stay free, and you pay only for metered use (AI, OCR, SMS briefs, WhatsApp Cloud API messages) at our cost.
Case status
AdvocateFlow does not fetch eCourts status automatically, because eCourts uses a CAPTCHA and AdvocateFlow will not bypass it. Instead, copy the eCourts case-status page and paste it into a matter. AdvocateFlow reads the CNR, stage, court, next date and case history, and adds any listing you have not recorded. Each date shows its source.
What AdvocateFlow adds
- A shared diary for the advocate, juniors and clerks.
- Tasks, process, certified-copy and defect tracking.
- Limitation calculator, drafting, e-filing paper book.
- Fees, GST invoices and client updates.
Pick the eCourts app if…
- You only need automatic status for a few cases.
Pick AdvocateFlow if…
- You need to run the chamber's work around those dates: who appears, what is pending, what is due, and what to bill.
